Thought today was going to be a good day. Got off work early, it was a nice day outside, a few little odds 'n ends were supposed to show up from sounddomain today. Was pretty excited about coming home and dickin' around with my stereo for a little bit. Get home. Have a message on the machine from a company whom I applied for a job with yesterday...so I'm pretty excited, very quick call time..that must mean something decently good I presume. Copy down the number, go to give a lady a call back.....and all I get is a message telling my the # I'm trying to reach has been disconnected Okay, I probably just copied the number down wrong. Listen to the message a few more times, double check the #....nope, it's definitely the one she gave. So, okay...I probably just dialed it wrong. Dialed it a few more times, keep getting the same messages. Fuck it, I give up...I'll try to find a different # tommorrow, right now I wanna dick with my stereo. So, go outside and tear out my 8053 to sell it to a local kid. All goes well, while I'm doing that my order from SD shows up. for me...or so I thought. Get the new radio all wired up, go outside to plug 'er in and install 'er. While I'm trying to get it into the dash, I realize that the mounting sleeve is screwed up (it's a used/older deck) and that the little arms on the side that are supposed to keep it from sliding forward and backward don't fucking lock into place. So everytime I try to push it back into the dash, the wires bunch up behind it and push it forward, right out of the fucking mounting sleeve. Uggghhh....so after ****ing with that for half an hour, I finally get it into the dash and all buttoned up. So, I begin to tackle my order from SD. Top-post battery adaptor terminal, 0/1ga in-line fuse holder, yadda yadda yadda. I pop my hood, unscrew the battery terminal screw (had a GM side-terminal car, now have a top-post battery, so I just screwed the side-terminal screw into the hole for the top-post...works for now). Plop the adaptor into place and go to screw it in...and this is when I realize that the fucking hole for the screw is too god-damned small! Fuck Shit Fuck Fuck Shit!! I don't have a vice, so I can't enlarge the hole right now....so now I'm beginning to get a little pissed off because shit just ain't going my way. Move on to the in line fuse holder. Figure I might aswell accomplish something under the hood while I'm there. Go to unscrew the endcaps to the cheap-*** fuseholder I have in there right now...and I can't get one of the sides to loosen. Go I go grap my vice grips...latch them on a carefully turn to break it loose. What happens? Fucking snaps my god ****ed ANL Fuse!
