There's a ton of good info in this thread, but ALOT to sort through!!! Anyone try this box out? I don't really have the time to build one, so I'm hoping something like this will do. This would be the 1.25 CU FT version. I think they are tuned to 34 Hz. Any recommendations on this box? I'll be using an Alpine V-Power mono 350 W amp (MRP-M350) to power one 12" Type-R. Specs call for 0.7 to 1.0 CU FT sealed box right? A guy at one of the local stores gave me a stupid look when I told them I needed a 1.0 CU FT box. Told me if I wanted to hit good lows 1.25 CU FT sealed is the way to go. I do want it to hit low, but not at the cost of the sub not meeting it's fullest potential. If I can get this box in the Mustang trunk (probably have to take all that plastic trim off just to do that, but) it seems like it would give me a vented option to play around with. Basically I'm just hoping to get it right the first time! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Is tuning at 34 Hz better than something less than 30 Hz? I listen to everything (Hard Rock, Hip Hop, Bluegrass, Accoustical), but still want a compromise that will leave me feeling the bass should I opt for some Rap! How does one get that?

Thanks for the help!

CobraGT //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pullover.gif.ac2de04a20ebe8c72a715e86e00c8c0d.gif

"Drive it like you stole it!"

Edit ----> Yep most of this has been discussed many times over.
