Message: <blockquote data-quote="xpl0it" data-source="post: 1109193" data-attributes="member: 563062"><p>I know there is a lot of hype about the Type R's and I must add that I'm close to buying them.  Right now I have a 12" MTX 9500 hooked up to a 1501d and a snailshell from powered4sound, which I must add is the single loudest 12 setup I've ever heard, but I'm wanting a lot more.  I thought about slapping 4 12" or 4 15" Type R's in the back hooked up to an Orion 2500d.  My friend suggested that I go with 4 12" Kicker L7s hooked up to the 2500d.  Would the Kickers be a lot louder?  And if so, would the sound quality coming out of the kickers just ****?  I want a decently sounding system, because my 9500 in the snailshell sounds freakin amazing, and I don't want to move to all SPL, i still would like some sound quality in there.  Thanks for any tips/advice!</p></blockquote><p></p>
