Message: <blockquote data-quote="iceteebone" data-source="post: 3392281" data-attributes="member: 549344"><p>That's the whole point, why is A-rod taking the heat and not Jeter?  What did Jeter do in the playoffs this year?  What did he do against Detroit last year?  Yes Jeter has a better BA, but A-rod has drawn more walks and has hit for more power the Jeter in the playoffs.  A-rod had very good post season numbers in Seattle.  The whole Yankee team has sucked since they collapsed in 04.  In 05, 06, and 07 the Yankees lost in the first round, and the only one they weren't pwnd in was in 05.  A-rod did have a good start to the 04 post season.  Also A-rod is opting out of the contract, the Yankees aren't getting rid of him, it's a player option, and the Yankees have shown an interest in retaining him, it's whether he wants to stay in New York.</p></blockquote><p></p>
