It was a very long time ago, but still probably the two loudest I remember hearing/sitting in were: A Nissan Pathfinder with 4 Orion XTR 15DVCs. The enclosure was a 6th order bandpass that filled the entire rear end of the vehicle; the rear seats were gone. The whole bottom end was powered by a single 2100HCCA. There were 3 MB Quart 3 way comp sets in the truck with the mids and tweets in the doors and the midbasses across the front of the sub enclosure. Whole high end was run off a single 225HCCA. Competed in IASCA in the 100-250W class and was one of the louder vehicles in the class at the time (at least in the Southeast). Set up for SQ. It sounded great up close at low volume and a block away at high volume. The other was 9 JL 15W6s in a Pathfinder with each trio on their own 2100HCCA. It was just obnoxious loud. Neither of these would really be loud by todays standards, but at the time ('91 and '96 respectively) they were pretty loud. Especially considering that neither really went crazy trying to get the highest mic score. They were both daily drivers that were meant to listen to music and both only had A/B Class amplification to work with...
