... And decided he'd leave this little treat on my doorstep.

Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 FTMFW!!! This will be going in my Mazda3 so I can keep the factory HU without sounding like ass. I can't wait to fire this baby up. This was the biggest piece of the puzzle, so now I just have to make final sub/sub amp decisions and I can start the build.

SB3BabyHuey was going to sell his to me for $300 shipped. But I had already agreed to buy this one at that price, and the seller ended his eBay auction for me, so I was kind of obligated.

Might want to hit him up. I highly doubt you'll find a better price on a good OEM integration unit. I've seen a couple Alpine H650s in that range, but they are hard to find, and NPDang's review of that unit was far from glowing.

looks pretty good, now guess you really gotta get crackin on picking out the rest of the setup since you got the crucial piece to the puzzle. One question thought, are there still tiny bits of wire left in all the terminals? Looks like the guy just cut it out from wherever it was instead of just disconnecting it all. Just seems odd to me I guess lol.

Yeah, there are, but it's no big deal. I've gotten amps like that before too. He shipped it out the day I payed, so he might have just cut the wires to pack it up faster. Nothing's more frustrating than getting to a shipping center 5 minutes after the truck has picked up.

I have subs already, but I may sell those and go smaller (I have 3 10" ID OEMs, but am thinking of going with 2 Assassin 8s in a T-line). Amp won't be hard to pick up. I'll probably just end up saving for a PDX 1000.1 or something else with a small footprint

As long as you do not get any noise from it. My best friemd has one of these, he can't get rid of a noise that is being introduced to the signal. He even swapped it out for another one from RF.

I have heard it it is very faint, and he still has the unit so it must not bug him to much.

The guy I bought it from used it on the same car with great results. And no matter how long he has been installing, there is always a chance of making a mistake or tuning it incorrectly.
