I had my Equinox in the shop (fuel gauge not working) to replace the fuel pump and sending unit. I figured do both while they are there so they are both new. Genuine GM parts of course. So they call me and let me know it is all back together but it is still broken. They said they scanned the code and it told them specifically the drivers side sending unit is the fault. Damn Chevy had to form the gas tank around the rear drive shaft and exhaust on the 2nd gen Equinox's. So, $500 in labor today and next week when they get the other part, $540.
