[QUOTE="generalGOTCHA, post: 588540, member: 557157"] Hmmm, I hate to say this really ! But, those of you who go out to your car and do an install to your personal vehicle will tweak every thing to the eye that is not satisfaction or close to perfection in the pride of what you have. People will look at your car/truck and be in aww and amazement of such emaculate work and youd did not pay 3000$ for it to look like that , but the pride and work that covered its cost ! Your best friend just bought a new system, he lives **NEXT DOOR** he always talks about your work and abilities, and even your own car ! He saved some cash and wants to emulate your artwork, but does not have the skills. You attend to help him, while your helping him not charging a thing, you find yourself not missing any edge or cut etc so his ride will look nice to all for the fact that he's going to tell other people , in which you may charge as well. You driven by friendship find yourself attending his vehicle as if it was your own with pride in your work while striving for perfection. AHHHHHHHHH ! Its beautifull, your not frustrated , hours of work complete, your friend saves a grand or so , and later he will use his unique ability to repay you although your not worried about it. two weaks come by someone see's your work done to his vehicle. Theyre willing to pay you if you can bargain a deal over the local audio shop thats so outrageous, .. and of course this is alott of what you do, so you accept ! Now getting paid a swift and boring 800 $ custom installing someones equipment doing a 2500$ job ! Knowing they have the cash to pay more your just doing the shit anyways. As your installing that nice new vehicle your pride factor isnt what it was when you did your own, or a close friend. You making short cuts, and now the frustration is multiplied in how it affects you. Your quality is drastically falling to a no care install but to make you quik 800$ since their **NOW GETTING WHAT THEY PAY FOR**. You fix the problem, but charging a nice 100$ , he still doesnt complain because its a custom job. 1yr passes , your install , and your friends install still ! Not changed , Still **NO PROBLEMS** You heard a breif comment from a friend !
