This, however, is what I expected, for I got 15's for the extremely nice low end (and ill get to that later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ). The W7 had excellent SQ but was often loose on several notes. However, I would say that the 15A had equal or better SQ than the W7. Also, it got much higher than the 13W7 which did not get very high. The low end is a toss up, both of them hammer the low notes. And as far as SPL goes...well, I guess a 13W7 ported with a 1000/1 isnt a fair comparison to two 15A's, but needless to say the 15A's are easily about 3X as loud, which is louder than I can stand for about 2 minutes. I couldnt be happier except for that **** slapping sound....but anyway Ill post picks. Hope this was interseting/helpful to you guys.
Well, they finally came on Christmas Eve. My two 15A's arrived. After spending a little time last night and this morning I hooked everything up. 2 15A's, a Tsunami 1800T, and a ported box 5.1 cubes total and 4.4 after displacement tuned to 28 HZ. I plougged everything in and turned on the car for the first time and popped in the new Big Boi CD Speakerbox. The first track has a good range of nice tight high and low notes. Wow First of all after not having bass for about 4 months it felt great to turn up that knob and have some bump back there, but I was amazed at the extreme tightness and clarity of the subs.
