Message: <blockquote data-quote="BoomBoomBoy" data-source="post: 2606923" data-attributes="member: 571992"><p>As mentioned earlier, set the DMM to AC voltage.  With your sub hooked to your amp, place the red lead on the + sub terminal, and the black lead to the - sub terminal.  Play music at a moderate volume and you should see your DMM voltage read out jump up and down with the music.  If it doesn't, there's something wrong.</p></blockquote><p></p>
