I went digging for information found out its 12" from the a column and 4" up but....

Just to be official:

-from passengers side only correct?(never seen anyone with the meter on the drivers side of the windshield, assuming thats against the rules).

Other org's mic placement rules?

I see people measuring in the kick panel, where abouts is the placement for that setup? Just down somewhere on the floor in the passengers side?

I got one coming in tomorrow and I want to be sure Im not cheating myself out of any DB's or anything.

db drag and iasca is 12" from passenger side and 4" up. usaci usually meters in the kick.
