tc didnt make a whole lot of these because its actually a patent infringement i believe, its an aura 1808 motor with ribs cut in it and called a "beehive" i havent got to play with any but i build and am currently running aura nrt 18 hybrids in my daily driver. uses anodized aluminum cone, flat 3 rib surround and tc 18" basket. The first 4 we built were prosound prototypes, for use in large cabinets, but once i burn a coil in my current pair, i will be looking to head more towards the spl side of things. Aura motors are very very powerful neo motors, but are pretty expensive. i can build a 4 ohm PA driver for 1000$ a piece. And should have an spl driver ready to go by yucca valley. pictures and a vid: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=36262&st=0&start=0 underhung motor, neo radial its a 2 piece motor with long skinny neo mags that you epoxy in the radius. I am having problems finding someone to get the right coils for my application but these 4 ohm standard copper flatwind coils are holding out **** well. the worx neo in the link above uses a 4" neo motor, but its not a radial neo as im sure the beehive is. interesting to see that the worx neo seems to have all the same softparts as i used
