The system I’m building is, in comparison to some I’ve seen, mediocre, but I want it to perform flawlessly and rather maintenance free. Here is what I’m currently running. This is a 2002 Cadillac Escalade base, not EXT HU: Alpine ilx-207(4v pre-outs) powered via vehicle ignition. Was using all 6 RCA outs, but changed to 4, disabled sub output in HU software. Processor/Crossover: Stetsom STX-104(variable RCA out 4-9v Sub Amp: Stetsom EX-1600(1600W RMS @ 1 Ω ) Mid-bass amp: Stetsom HL1200.4(170W RMS @ 2 Ω Mids amp: Stetsom HL1200.4 Highs amp: Stetsom 1200.4 Speakers: Subs:2- Focal E KX30 DVC 2 ohm12’s, sealed enclosure tuned to 40Hz Mid-bass: 4- Memphis MJM622 6.5” DVC 2 Ω subs(700W RMS @ 1 Ω) Mids: 4- Memphis MJP6(125W RMS) Highs: 4 Orion HCCATN1 Super Tweeters(175W RMS) There ya go. Impressive, right? Well, I’ve got to power all this ****. I have a 320A alternator. I’ve completed the “Big 3 Upgrade” I’ve got a Victron Energy 200/2 battery isolator What I need from you pros is a battery recommendation for the audio. Vehicle battery is an Optima RedTop, but is isolated from the audio. I have in my possession an Interstate 8D industrial battery, but it doesn’t have any Ah information, however, it is HUGE, and was free. Should I use the 8D or find something more suitable to my setup? Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated.
