swine flu

I work in an ER and we have had sooooo many people come it swearing they have it. They have dumb stories like

-"My aunts cousins', sisters' friend went to mexico and i hugged her." so we asked if either were sick and when. She said over a month ago, and niether one are sick..

-one old lady came in and said "i dont know why everyone is worrying about the swine flu, they should be more worried about that mexican flu going around"

My favorite

- "I think i have the swine flu cause i ate a ham sand which yesterday"

The first U.S. death from swine flu has been confirmed — a 23-month-old child in Texas — amid increasing global anxiety over a health menace that authorities around the world are struggling to contain.

The flu death was confirmed Wednesday by Dr. Richard Besser, acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In an interview with CNN, he gave no other details about the child. …

The number of confirmed swine flu cases in the United States rose to 66 in six states, with 45 in New York, 11 in California, six in Texas, two in Kansas and one each in Indiana and Ohio, but cities and states suspected more. In New York, the city’s health commissioner said “many hundreds” of schoolchildren were ill at a school where some students had confirmed cases.

It's called purposeful distraction. Did you know that while the

swine flu craze has monopolized TV, they made a couple mentions

of Obama "saving Crysler". Guess what that means, he forced out the

evil hedge fund bond holders, aka private sector investors. Guess who

owns 55% of the company with very little investment compared to the

private investors? That's right the unions who held about 10b in bonds

compared to 30b from private investors. Guess who contributes to

Democrats, you guessed it again, the unions.

Welcome to Argentina, enjoy your new country.

the person that died in the US, was not even a US citizen. a 23 month old boy who was from mexico and they brought across the border to try and save him.

and the swine flu virus lacks the deadly gene. so everyone that died in mexico had second illnesses to aid in their death, stop being paranoid.

The only people that have died have been Mexican.

Either this Flu was created to kill mexicans.. Or because Mexico has such poor hygiene, nutrition and health care that is the only reason why they are dying..

The rest of the world is recovering even without going to a hospital...

It's also possible the number of deaths is 100% ********.. The number keeps going up and down daily.. As of friday it dropped from 175 to 100...

I thought this was common sense. Why can't common sense be more common?
