surround?

how hard is it to change the surround on a sub? becasue i can get a new surround kit for my jl w-6 15's becasue they started to dryrot. plus this weekend had a compatition got a 136.8db plus i got this with cracked surround... and i ordered 2 6 in ports today and goin to tune it to 35 hz...

Call JL about a recone. That's the only way you'll get it back to original spec.

It can be challenging if you dont know what you are doing, I have done it to several home speakers, but never car subwoofers.

jl dont do recones no more on the old school subs i have allready asked them, but i guess im goin to just get the surround and do i know i can do it but just askin how hard it would be, pluss is 2 6 in ports to much
