Message: <blockquote data-quote="BumpinTypeR" data-source="post: 5590603" data-attributes="member: 607000">would the superbass eq setting cause clipping if the volume was like at 30-35 max out of 46 and i listened to some hard hitting songs?  For some reason my type-r isnt too loud unless i turn superbass on....maybe its becasue i set the gain with my SLA all the way up (4)?the first time i set my gain it was with my SLA at 0.....my gain knob came out to be turned much higher than it came out to be when i set the gain with my SLA at 4....however after the first time i set my gain (with SLA at 0) i ended up turning it all the way up later cause it made my music out of the stock speakers louder....which is why i reset my gain later on with it already at 4Im just not sure how to go about getting the loudest bass without clipping</blockquote>
