Hey guys, I set the gain on my Alpine mrp-m500 amp which is wired to my single 12" type r. I set the gain with basically everything off (loudness, bass boosts, eq to flat) and my SLA at 4. My new max volume is 46. So my question is, can i safely turn on my super bass eq setting? I would not turn my volume all the way up to 46 if i put it on (prob like 35-40 max). I dont wanna ruin anything however. Because my type r doesnt seem to be hitting very hard unless i turn on the super bass eq....my gain on the amp is half way at the "nominal" position (this just happened to be the place where my knob ended up when i reached my desired voltage while setting the gain) thanks
