I'm looking at a Soundstream DTR1.3400D and a Sundown SAX-1200D to power my 18" with 4,000 watts RMS. I don't think i'm ever going to be able to fully power it because of the car I have, and i'm on a budget, so I found the sundown for $630 and the Soundstream for $350. The Soundstream says 2200W @ 1 ohm, and the Sundown says 1200W @ 1 ohm. But seeing as how the sundown is considerably more expensive, I was thinking, even though it puts out less power, if maybe it's more reliable than the Soundstream that puts out more power? Which one should I get? Side note: the soundstream is also 3400W @.5 ohms, but idk much about amps and stability and all that crap, is that dangerous to have it at .5 ohms?
