Have decided its time to retire the hx2 8s. Plan to do a center console build that will restrict me to using aforementioned size. So the question is how do these two compare? Planning on 1.5 tuned at 30-32. Have a hifonics zues 1216.1D that I hope can do a clean 6-700w (will be wired down to 1ohm). Listen to all kinds of music, does one have edge over other musically, also which one would catch the low end better? Budget is 2-300 for the pair. Also would take any suggestions on other brands.
