Message: <blockquote data-quote="Grinder1989" data-source="post: 4592339" data-attributes="member: 573303"><p>I know the new Nightshades can take a beating.  I put my original prototype in my car and it slams pretty good, doesn't get hot and is pretty musical.  However, if I had the room, I'd run two on my 3000D if I could.  I'm not sure that I'd push that amp that hard on those subs (3kw to one I mean) because I don't want to have to have them re-coned.  I don't know if they could handle 3kw or not, I just wouldn't risk it.  Also, I would never go over 3kw for daily.  Over that is just a waste of power if you not competing.  But that's just me.</p></blockquote><p></p>
