Type R's(I happen to own two 12's) are louder than MTX 8000's(a friend of mine has a pair) and that isnt me thinking my stuff is louder but it is the truth type R's rock and rock hard and crystal clear. Then 15 yes may get lower probably not enough to make me want them. But 2 12's have more cone area than a 15 by geometry so you will move more air with 2 12's and a considerable amount when you consider that is the name of the game. So just like I did get 2 12inch type R's my opinion that is it so dont hold it againist me.</p></blockquote><p></p>
