I know i read somewhere about this before, but i couldnt remember the solution. Currently running a db drive wdx 12 5k & a planet audio ac5000.1d running at 2ohms. The sub is a dual 4 ohm. The sub is good and i know the amp is in the **** list of amps, but it powers my sub and can out due any local normal setup. My issue is randomly ill have this weird sub volume issue where it will randomly seem like the sub hits with less power then usual, Then it will go back to normal hitting hard at normal level. The sub nor the amp is the issue as both have been tested in different cars and setups. The ground of the amp has been redone multiple times and is on pure bare metal also pure copper to ground without a terminal on it so it can ground 100%. I noticed the issue even more after i have done the big 3 with all big 3 grounds sanded thoroughly. Voltage drop has been happening more often then before the upgrade upfront. Setup:

Stock Alternator 140 amps
Stock battery
Big 3 - 0 Gauge Execution Audio OFC
150 fuse - from battery to amp
4 gauge audio technix cca (amplifier)
