[QUOTE="nimrod, post: 8133935, member: 607188"] hello all, I have a question about an install that I'm thinking of doing. I have a Pioneer DEH-P710BT head unit, hooked up to a Pioneer PRS-D4200F amp using RCA cables. When I did the install, I didn't think that I was going to need a subwoofer, so I didn't install one. Now I think that I need to install one to round out the sound. My question is, the head unit has RCA subwoofer output jacks on the back, and the amp has RCA output jacks on it also. If I install a new amp and subwoofer, can I just take the signal for the new amp out of the old amp, or should I take it from the head unit. If I took it from the head unit, would I have more control over the new amp? By the way, incase you are wondering, when I originally did the install, I ran 1/0 wire, just incase I ever wanted to add a subwoofer, so I'm good in that department. thanks for any responses.
