Thanks for the link. I do understand the basics, my syntax was just incorrect in my last post. However, it did provide additional quality information that I had no idea bout. I was big into car audio back in high school (late 90's to 2001) and have been out of the game for awhile. I currently have a sealed box that my friend and I built back in the day. My plan was to get 2 new 12's to replace the 2 I have now. Considering the amplifier has already been installed, I'm thinking my only step is to reconnect the wires to my head unit (they were unplugged when one of my subs blew) and remove my old subwoofers and replace them in the sealed box I have in my trunk. I would like to not pay a bunch of money to have a car audio facility do something this simple. My problem is that I don't think I know how to properly wire the subs. Any links on information for this? Basically what you are saying is that I'm looking at buying subs that are too powerful for my amp. I guess I'm going to get some RF P3's, which are the newer model of my older subs. I think they should provide what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks
