I went to the kicker site to get the specs on a vented box that i am going to build and it says that it has the normal 750 watt rms handling in this enclosure but only with a 25hz subsonic filter set at 24 db/octave... without the filter it only handles 400 watts... What does this mean? Do the rockford bd 500.1 amp and JBL bp 600.1 have a subsonic filter that would meet this requirement? Or would you all just say screw it and go with the sealed enclosure for the solo... i want really low base but closer towards the punchy side, so i thought the smalled ported box would be nice. thanks for the help
