[QUOTE="Drumbc, post: 8454363, member: 668090"] My subs are 2 dual 2 ohms wired down to 2 ohms reading a stable 2.4 ohms on the dmm, surrounds look good I just opened them so one sub the coil is nice and copper and the subs feels like it's nice and broke in no scraping but feels a little loose but maybe that's cause I'm comparing it to the other sub the other subs is darker copper it's very noticeable difference but im reading 4.1 ohms But there looks to be maybe a tiny separation in the coil and black at that one spot does this mean it's burnt? Could this be factory defect me being stupid never checked the coils when bought could it have came a little separated and slowly got worse cause the other sub cool is bright copper and they bother have been run on the same amp in same box there whole 2 week life not abused it's still stiff feels like a new sub but there both same age 2 weeks old and both been used same with same power.
