Message: <blockquote data-quote="WheresTheButta" data-source="post: 6061813" data-attributes="member: 559748">sounds like amp going into protect.  You're sure your gains aren't even halfway?As far as the ground - for your amp ground I'm assuming you grounded to the chassis somewhere, as 99.99% of people without a 2nd battery do.  Make **** sure that the the spot your amp ground touches is bare metal - don't put it on something that has paint or powdercoat.  If it has either paint/powdercoat/dirt and crap, clean it off, sand it down to bare metal, and put the ground back to see if that helps.This is neither here nor there, but just to make sure...   What size wire are you running to the amp for power/ground?  What size speaker wires?  Make sure the big 3 that you did is firmly tightened, and that all your terminals are good quality and on there all the way.</blockquote>
