I wasn't having this issue before when I started the engine. This only happens when i go to start the engine, as when the car is just on the subs put out sound. I then turned the car off, jumped the REM to the + constant coming into the amp and then turned on the engine, and this time the subs did work. The only was to get the sound back from the subs is to completely turn off the HU (Kenwood KDC-MP142) and then turn it back on, Which makes me think something isn't workin properly on my HU or I have a weak battery, and possibly if I need to upgrade to a better one, but it seems very unlikely because my amp only puts out 50 rms per channel(2 channels). Any help would be appreciated.
After searching through 8 pages of threads, i could not find help to the problem I am having w/ my set up, and would like some help as I am quite new at this. Ok, so yesterday i set up a pyramid 1200W amp(first time), and hooked it up to 2 subs in my trunk, and everything worked perfect until about 2 hrs later, when I turned on the engine, the subs put out no sound, but the amp was still on. I wasn't having this issue before when I started the engine. This only happens when i go to start the engine, as when the car is just on the subs put out sound. I checked the remote wire 3 times and even used a different wire, but everytime the same thing kept happening.
