I have a 1998 Mountaineer with a 5.0 under the hood. The 5.0 turns 3 alternators. All alts. are beefed up to the max. I have a Kinetik HC2000 under the hood and 10 HC2400 in the back banked together with copper straps. I have Digital Disigns Z1 amps (4) and 8 digital 2ch amps for my voice setup. I used 4 Digital Designs 9515s ported and do 160s on the TL. I have some stupid idea to pull out a good thing. I have played with all the RE line but the MT and XXX. I have 3 XXX 18s hanging out on the floor and am looking at tossing them puppies in a ported box and dropping it in. Now this froggy idea will take a few weeks of work to do. I have to uninstall all the amps and amp racks and remove the box and then build the new setup and rebuild amp racks. Anyone ever use both to give me an idea of what to look foward to. PS 6 boxes of bulk extream Dynamate are installed and back 3 windows are pulled and welded up. This is also an everyday driver! LOL well as much as it can be.
