Message: <blockquote data-quote="Buck" data-source="post: 8723839" data-attributes="member: 591582"><p>I would also recommend DC.  They're my favorite personal subs, as in my favorites that I had.   I had 2 of the DC XL's 18's in 13 cubes @ 29 hz, 12.3 in^2 per cube.  They were rated at 1400 or 1500 watts.  My ed 9.1's were only rated for 1200w (at 12.6v).  I still did a 149.3 @ 35 hz.  It was designed for SPL in mind at all.  Those subs could play such a range, i was impressed.  i think mike smiley even said something to me about.  that was in la vergne tn.  I think Tenacious was there too.  we ate at zaxby's afterwods.  it's all fun and games until you almost lose your rear glass haha</p></blockquote><p></p>
