I have a older single 12" Type R in a ported box. When i start start my car and start playing some music sometimes i will notice my sub wolnt be as loud. Then one day i was setting my gains and i was playing a test tone and with out touching anything the sub all of a sudden  got really loud and started playing really good w/o distortion or anything. So now sometimes when i notice my sub isnt really loud i will turn on a test tone and wait for the sub to get loud.Could this be a problem with my amp?</blockquote>
