Hi, I have 2 x Alpine Type R 12" with an Alpine 1100W RMS Amp plus an audio capacitor. Those were working in the last 2 week but are not working anymore (Amp light is not lighting). When I bought my car the sub were installed already so I checked all wire and saw that ground were scotched with electrical tape to the car frame so I drilled an hole in the frame and did it correctly. + From battery is plugged on capacitor, - of capacitor in the drilled hole, my amp ground is plugged on capacitor and my amp + on capacitor. The problem is that my amp light is flashing but not blinking.... As if the battery would do 12v, 6v, 12v, 6v... I ear it in the speaker a lil bit and the only way that made my sub to work is to plug a RCA wire on the output of my amp... Sorry for the spelling error... my native language is french so hope you understand! Sincerely, Dom!
