Message: <blockquote data-quote="azimuth" data-source="post: 6397463" data-attributes="member: 566682"><p>it would work fine. i use cerwin vega 8 inch car subs and they do fine for a smaller room, on music anyway. they don't have the low end for HT. the box is not done right for HT anyway. ported tunings in the 20's are where it's at for home theater. not that i'm an expert by any stretch, but it's a night and day difference between the cerwin vega 8's and a cheap 15 in 6 cubes at 25hz. the cheap 15 (don't even know the brand) fills the room 10x better than the 2 8's. the enclosure for the 8's is tuned at 38hz also. they won't do ported in the 25 hz area very well.</p></blockquote><p></p>
