Hey, I'm in a situation. I recently bought a 10" kicker CVT subwoofer, and a Sony Xplod 1200W amp off of ebay. Now, the seller listed the Sub as a 4 ohm, but when I got it, it is a 2 ohm. I was planning on having the amp bridged to the sub, but it says it's stable at 4 ohms in bridged mode. I can't return the sub to the seller, and I don;t really want the hassle, because it's already payed for, and I already payed border fee's and such. So my question is, can I still just run the sub from the amp in bridged mode, and just keep it about 3/4 full power? Because the subs max watts is 400, and the amp in 4 ohm bridged mode puts out 500w. So if I bridge it, and don't crank it, should that sort of balance the whole configuration out? Thanks.
