I hear these speakers will sound very good without an amp so i&#039;m not too worried about&nbsp; them. However, i would like a subwoofer behind the seat.As i&#039;m sure you know, i have hardly any space to spare. I love bass, but i&#039;m not a guy who is &quot;ok&quot; with having his knees stuck to the dash so i need something compact that still packs a punch. I&#039;ve been looking at shallow mount subwoofers by various brands but i get mixed opinions on those. I would like to stick with Pioneer, but i wouldn&#039;t mind going for something else. It doesn&#039;t have to be &quot;shallow&quot; either, as long as it fits behind the seat. I&#039;ve been working with the <a href="http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html" target="_blank">RE Enclosure Calculator</a> a bit and i came up with the following numbers; 35, 15, 5, 8, 0.75, 2, 8. Now, i dont know if that&#039;s a &quot;good&quot; box or not, but it&#039;ll fit behind the seat easily and i think it&#039;ll hold 2 woofers, whether they&#039;re 8&quot; or 10&quot;. But, 2 isn&#039;t necessary...i&#039;ll go for 1 12&quot; woofer if it would be better, as long as it fits.Now, like i said i love bass but i dont want my truck to rattle like a sob. I want to keep it to myself, rather than have the entire block know about my subwoofer. I have about $300/$400 to spend on the Sub/Amp combination so i&#039;m kinda asking you guys to put something together for me.
