I contacted Alpine about it, they said the same thing. I have wired to 1 ohm, I did the 9 hour drive 1 ohm, and have been there for, IDK, a month or two. The amp never gets hot or anything like that, even after hours of use. It sounds fine, but I feel like is isn't as loud as it could be. I know I'm not at RMS for the speakers. I don't have a clamp test, but I was getting 30-40V from the speaker wire at the amp. Which if at 1 ohm (I know it isn't consistently at 1 ohm) Im at 900w-1600w. So roughly 1500w, 750w a speaker</p></blockquote><p></p>
