Some shallow mount subs aren't going to "rattle the windows". They are more for the audible bass, than low frequencies that shake stuff. That being said, I would recomend you get a few Sundown SA 8 V2's or SD 10's. Air displacement relates more closely to sound and volume. The more air a subwoofer can move, the louder it will be. All things equal, an SA 12 will be louder than an SA 10. The 12 has more usable cone area and both subs have the same excursion. Excursion is the term that describes how far a subwoofer cone moves in and out. Xmax is how far it moves one way, and peak to peak measures the full travel. If two subwoofers have the same cone area, but one has a greater peak to peak travel, the sub that moves more will be louder. Also, Low frequencies are reproduced better by subwoofers with more excursion. I don't know how much research you've done on sealed vs ported, but your musical tastes will be difficult to cater to. Rock and Country need a sealed box to be punchy and not sound muddy, but dubstep will sound much better in a ported box.
