This might be a stupid question about wiring speakers. My box will be chambered, so I will be using two terminal cups for each subs. I have two 2-ohms 12" type-r's and a mrd-m1005 monoblock amp. I want to wire the amp down to 2-ohms so I can pump out a nice kilo of wattage to my speakers. I understand the wiring diagrams, but I don't know what to do about the terminal cups. Do I wire each sub as shown to their respective terminal cups, then wire one terminal cup to another, then wire that cup to the amp? Also, I will be using 14G speaker wire. Will this be enough to handle THE POWER of 1000 watts? Thanks!
