I actually learned on my old man's 380 which had a top speed of about 55mph (was geared for offroad) and just recently got my own bike (a ninja 500R). The 500 has more than enough get up and go in it, and like others have said, they hold their value well, if you take care of it, you can usually get most (if not all) of your money back out of it when you sell it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
