i was in a 94 mustang gt 5.0, and we pull up next to a VR6 Jetta. we knew the jetta wasn't stock just by the looks of it. Anyways light turns green and we both go, we stay ahead but there right there like messin with us. stayed with us the whole time, but the road turned into a one lane and we pulled ahead.

in the 5.0 Mountaineer, I have beaten most every Jeep Grand cheerokee and X5 and 4 runner in the area that are stupid enough to race me when I am in the mood

not when we are hauling around the horse track, I live in race horse central, so there are pratice tracks every where, hehe

I live in freakin NY, we are surrounded by stop lights and highways, no racing really. Sometimes when ricers pull up to the light and im in my Pathfinder, I hear em revvin the engine, pretending they drive a stick, rockin back and forth. I hear the "roar" (or the fart) of their deisel "custom" exhaust, and I just laugh, and turn up my system and bump the **** outta them. It's fun

theres not that many around this part of kentucky, but i guess there are more in northern

oh and people here dont street race, if you want to race you go to the 1/4 mile track

In my Explorer 4.0 I raced my friend in his 98 Camry LE I-4. He got rocked.

I also passed him coming up a hill in my brother's Mustang 5.0, but that was too brutal to be funny.

quite a few street racing stories here...my favorites are the v6 stangs & camaros that think they're so fast. and the civics & eclipses...one time i raced a gs-t with a t3 turbo and i beat him in 1st gear, and through 2nd he didnt even have a whole car on me...and one time i raced a vette...well, i wouldnt call that a race //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

street racing is retarded, but i have fun doing it, and I (no one else) takes responsibility for all actions and and consequences that occur. I dont do it on a regular basis, but if i had a track near-by, i'd go there instead of being an ignorant youth

Two people from here in iowa were street racing and the 19 yr old kid spun out of control and hit a car and killed the man, he had a wife and kids too, that kid is spending his time in prison, i just think street racing is crazy

Agreed. Have any of y'all seen the show on MTV? (True Life: I'm a Street Racer)

It's a good one. That True Life show has some really good subjects to inform the viewers about, in my opinion.

Yeah I saw that show, the cars they had were pretty pathetic, the kids integra were he blew the engine was a slow rice burning hunk of ****.

yeah, I agree, those things only sound like powerful farts. I really hate the sound those god **** coffee cans make.

I personally gotta respect those guys though, because racing is their passion and they love it.

I got a ticket the first day I had my liscense because I was racing a 78 350 camarro in a 74 Honda Accord.. I had 6 people in my car.. the marro passed me and I jumped in it as hard as I could.. we blew past the cop and the comarro took off.. $150 ticket for 50+ in a 25 day one..

Granted, racing in the street isn't a good idea, but kids will do it.. all we can do is HOPE they are smart enough to do it when there aren't people on the streets, and away from public..
