Hello all, im new here but not new to audio. I am running a PA PS1-4000d. I dont care about your opinion on PA, It puts out the power i need and was within budget. anyways, i am running it at 4ohm right now so 1200 watts rms. which should be around the 67v AC mark for the gain. When i set my gain, it adjust as normal till just passed half. then it stops adjusting the voltage. so with the gain set at just passed half the voltage is 65v AC. if i move the gain more it will not adjust to a higher voltage. it remains at around 65-66v AC. its like there is a dead spot on the gain knob. i have it set to 65 flat right now. the amp is new, i dont understand this isnt the first time ive done this. but im not pro, i am still practicing my NoobiX cube...... thanx for any replies
