I had them sitting around for a long time (I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but....) they just did not sound good. However, with each passing week they sounded better, AND LOUDER. Now, after about two months there was no further improvement in the sound. Maybe you just need to give them a few weeks to break in. This is not a scientific answer, just what I experienced with a set that I have installed now.</p></blockquote><p></p>
