They sound great in both sealed and ported applications but with sealed the sub is a bit more "pronounced" . SE's are very simular to the ssd's but the ssd does have bit of an edge on the SE, both spl and SQ IMO . If your looking for SQ and nice output Id got with the SSD in a sealed application .   Also my front stage(s) consisted of Rainbow Germaniums, Alpine Type X , Currently running Pioneer PRS comps .</p></blockquote><p></p>
