I recently purchased a Soundgate AUXGMV3 for my 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo. I installed it last Thursday and since then everything has been working fine. But as i was driving today all of my speakers turned off and only the sub woofers were working, after a few seconds they all came back on. So i pulled into the nearest parking lot to see if there was something wrong with my amp but there is nothing wrong with it, its not going into protect, or anything like that. If I turn the volume down to where you can hardly hear it they work some of the time, they still cut out but not as much, the higher the volume the more frequently the sound cuts out to a point where nothing but a single note from the subs every few seconds. My whole system consists of the factory radio, with 2 line output converters one for each amp (sub amp and speaker amp). Before i installed this i could turn the volume up all the way with no problems, nothing cuts out or anything. I checked all the wiring to make sure it is correct and there is nothing wrong that i can see. To me seeing this was the only change made to the car before i started having problems i would have to imagine there is something wrong with this unit. Anyone ever hear of this problem before, my system has been fine for weeks before i put this soundgate thing in and after a few days it starts to act like this.
