I use it on the inkjet printed ones to lock the ink in. most people that are looking for a photo quality job go with ink jet but the injet on a cheaper disc needs to be coated to waterproof it. It also keeps them from getting damaged.  Don't put it on the read side only the label side, and even coats or it will throw them off balance.sorry for the thread hijack but free bump for you</blockquote>
