On my amp I turn the bass boost all the way to minimum, same with the actual gain knob to minimum. The subsonic and low pass knobs I leave to the desired frequency I want the sub to be played at. I turn my bass remote all the way off. I figure out the target voltage I need and then use my multimeter. But before I do that I turn just my head unit to the normal listening volume, lets say 10/30 for me. Once there, then I go back to my multimeter and turn my gain up a little bit, then I turn the bass remote up a little, and back and forth, until I reach my target voltage. Just as long as it aint clipping or its not distorted then you should be fine. What's your amp rated at?</p></blockquote><p></p>
