I wanted something loud. Not kinda loud, really loud. And with a little inspiration from Alan Hall's build and a lot of modifications I came up with this design... which I didn't stick with. I did stick with the baltic birch though. One port plugged for daily, both wide open for competing. And wow, it was amazing what a difference made. At this point I had sold one of the DSP3k and was running a single one at 2 ohm - so 1500w before rise. It was really close to as loud as the last enclosure was on 1/4 of the power.
