Recently upgraded my system, I had a skar 15 with an audiopipe 1500. Replaced it with a DC lvl 3 15 (dual 2 ohm) and a DC 1.2k. The issue I'm running into is that the bass is very low compared to the old setup so obviously something isn't right. I have replaced my head unit with a Pioneer 2550nex, replaced my RCA cables with Sundown RCA cables, I have "redone" my ground and power terminals and I have also checked my sub wiring 20 times (wired to 1 ohm). I tuned the amp gain with a DD1 on a decaf 40 hz tone off of a USB with my lpf set at about 80hz. I have the subwoofer setting turned on on my HU all of the HU settings haven't been messed with as I was having the same issue with my old HU. Not really sure what else to check at this point lol not an expert by any means but I've checked everything to my knowledge. There is bass just very low where as my old setup was twice as loud as this, I hadn't touched anything previously before trying to trouble shoot things the only thing I can think of is maybe I'm not tuning the amp correctly? Any opinions are appreciated.
