Since lovindabass specifically said he is trying to block noise I will say that the vibration dampers being discussed here are only the first step toward that goal - a very important first step, but incomplete by itself. To block sound you need to install a barrier layer. You could do this with 5 or 6 layers of vibration damper but it is easier and much cheaper to use vibration damper for what it was designed to do and then line the thing with mass loaded vinyl or something similar.</p></blockquote><p></p>
