soulplane?

^lol. come on....it's the black version of "Airplane".

storyline....what storyline? there was just all these minor conflicts - no real major conflict/resolution.

if you don't me sayin if you haven't seen it already don't scroll down....

It's just about a black guy who got rich by suing an airline and winning millions of dollars; then starting up his own "black"-oriented airline. That's pretty much it. Big deal. As far as the dumb black movies, how'd you feel about don't be a menace?

Come on, do they really think people are that stupid?

Airplane was a classic & black people had their part in that. There is no way in the world that anyone can even think that they can try something this dumb. A friggin airplane on hydraulics. That was dumb enuff, but Snoop. From gangta to pranksta, I ain't feelin it.

I guess this is what they call the black lamestream.

Are you saying that soul plane is like dont be a menanace? In that case you would have to be in the right mindset to go see it.

I cant believe my mom wants to see Soulplane rather than what i suggested, Man on Fire. we been talking about it for the past 3 days

it's not like don't be a menace per say, but has a lot of similarities. you know, comedy, dumb-sh*t, and stereotypes of black people & the hood, etc...

yea you gotta be in the right mindset and also have some kind of expectations....you can't go in wanting to leave with a "great", action-filled, adventure. If you go in expecting to see some funny shy*t while you're high, then it's a good movie to.
